In this reimagining of The Massacre at Paris, power is rendered in white, untouched and unmarked, while colour marks those made to enact violence. Blood is displaced onto the bodies of the lower classes, used as instruments of elite control.

Shifting away from religious conflict, the design foregrounds class, exposing how ideology is mobilised to divide and obscure those who truly hold power.

Beneath a relentless summer sun, Paris becomes a vast, liminal space, at once empty and monumental, where heat and light intensify a world shaped by spectacle, control, and inevitable violence.
